More early entry tickets for Reading Festival will be released tomorrow at 10am on SeeTickets.

Line-up Update: Reading/Leeds

Kids In Glass Houses has been added to the Reading and Leeds festivals to open the mainstage on Sunday and Saturday respectively.

News: More Reading Tickets

No you’re not seeing things. Starting this year Reading festival will increase capacity by an extra 10,000 tickets totalling at a rather impressive 85,000. 3.5k extra will be released this year and the next, and a final 3k more the year after that.

The price of the increase? Ticket priority is given to those residing in either Reading or the Mapledurham parish in Oxfordshire, and it’s still unclear as to what would happen to any left over.

65daysofstatic have been added to the Reading/Leeds festivals on the Festival Republic stage (most probably as replacement to A Day To Remember).

News: A Day To Remember

In news that almost made us at the office cry, A Day To Remember have dropped out of this year’s Reading/Leeds festivals due to one of the band members (it’s not stated whom) needing emergency surgery. We wish all the best to whoever it is and a speedy recovery in time for their UK tour dates in October!

Despite the rumours, My Chemical Romance will not be playing Reading/Leeds.
